An animal welfare advocate has found out more information about a dog that was badly beaten, shot and left dead in a dumpster next to the Copper Road Veterinary Clinic last month.

Jordi Mikeli-Jones says through tips and phone calls, she’s learned the dog’s name was Tulie. She says the Labrador retriever-pitbull cross was tied up in a yard in downtown Whitehorse when she was stolen last October.
